A Beautiful Farewell & Thank You To 2009

Blessings Friends & Family,

I could not end this year without properly thanking everyone for the outstanding support you've given us this year! I never imagined our mission would be at this stage and yet, here we are. Bigger and still growing. Doing the work of God is a process. You learn as you go day to day and I can honestly say we have learned tons. We could not have achieved all we've done without your love and support. Each day we express gratitude to God for guiding YOU our way!

This year we have sent out 3,000 + goody bags and uplifting mail. Because of your support we were able to purchase (340 = 17) books of .44 Forever Stamps, (3 Rolls = 300) .28 Stamps and (10 sheets = 200) .10 Stamps! Thanks to the beautiful Sandra we were able to purchase 1,000 goody bags and 200 goody boxes for 2010!! We have made new friends both young and old. We've created solid relationships with other organizations we'll be working with in the new year. And most importantly we have received great confirmation for our path in 2010.

We pray that you are abundantly blessed in the new year. May 2010 bring you great confidence, love, joy, peace, kindness and success in your endeavor. We are deeply excited to continue our journey with you all by our sides! Please be safe and know that we LOVE you all for the kind beings you are.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!!

Hello Friends & Family!
Well, this is our last post until the New Year. It has been an extremely successful year for our ministry and I think we've earned a mini vacation. Wouldn't you agree? (-:
We've been very busy today and wanted to share what we were up to.



As you can see we had loads of mail to get out! I get so excited each time uplifting mail is sent out, so today I was overly excited! The workers at the post office were not surprised to see us or our mail, because that's pretty much the norm with us.



As you know we held a raffle to raise funds for postage and it was Awesome!! So many caring people came to our aid and we are Eternally Grateful! We'd like to Thank Amy B for donating an awesome gift set and Live Life Solid for donating an amazing Solid Zip Hoodie. Both of these women are truly amazing and we love them! We love and appreciate every single person who donated to our raffle! Because of you all we will be able to send MANY MORE goody bags/uplifting mail!!
With the money raised we were able to purchase 17 books of Forever Stamps, 3 rolls of .28 cent stamps and 10 sheets of .10 cent stamps.

After we left the post office we headed over to Sam Ministries Shelter where we delivered the above goodies!!

October through December are indeed the busiest months of the years for us her at the "Uplifting Headquarters," but it is also the most rewarding time for us as well. We've accomplished a great deal and overcame many obstacles that stood before us. We are successful, because of your support, faith and trust in us. Having friends such as yourselves gives us all the energy and encouragement we need to succeed in our acts of kindness.

We will be celebrating Christmas with family as you will and we are truly looking forward to it! When the new year begins we will have many new fabulous changes to announce and of course we will be doing our best to out-due our numbers for 2009. :) We are currently in the midst of our Raffle Drive, which is going very well! But any support you can offer will be deeply appreciated as we are ALWAYS in need of postage stamps. With that being said we have a few photos of our very last gifts being mailed out this year!!

We have NEVER asked that money be donated, but we've been recently told that donating money is easier for most. We are in dire need of postage stamps for our uplifting mail, so we have taken your advice and added a donate button through Pay Pal. But, we are not expecting help without putting something in there for you all. We are raffling off the basket above!! The Season of Giving

Blessings To All!

Although San Antonio did not receive snow today we still found something to do that made us feel just as joyful. We received a few requests for goody bags from mom's who are having a hard financial time at the moment. They want their kids to receive something that comes from love, so we went to work to do our very best. We are truly hoping by next Christmas our goody bags will include big toys. Anything is possible and with my whole heart I believe this will be our next level for 2010!

These bags were sent with the truest love and compassion and we pray the kids will have huge smiles upon their faces when they receive them.

Following Jesus' Lead

I started this mission, organization, ministry (whatever you wish to name it) because I believe with all of my heart that God wants me to do this. Since I can remember I've always wanted to help others. My heart literally breaks when I see a homeless person or a child fighting cancer. Cancer has taken too many of my loved ones, but I don't give up hope for a cure.

There are millions of beings in this world who are fighting some sort of battle. Be it physical, mental, illness, homelessness, disability or even being a single mom or dad. A struggle is a struggle and my GREATEST wish is to help them in some small way. The best way I know how to combat adversity is through LOVE. For a person going through a rough time receiving a card from a complete stranger can change their mood even if just for a little while.

I was once a child living in a hospital and I can still remember feeling so lonely at night. For a kid who's hospitalized to receive tons of mail or goodies can make a HUGE difference in their state of mind. It uplifts them, which in turns does wonders for their little bodies. I ADORE the Christmas holiday, but for me I wish to live this season every day of my life. I wish to inspire and uplift men, women and children every day of the year.

I wish to be the change that I want to see...Will you join me?
