We'd like to take a moment to thank every beautiful being who's sent us postage stamps to help keep our mission going. Our hearts are so overwhelmed with love for each and every one of you! Weekly we mail up to 50 goody bags to children and adults who are battling life threatening illnesses and disabilities. Because of YOU we will not miss a beat and we are forever grateful. I wish we could hug each of you to fully express our gratitude. What's so awesome is many of you live far away from us, but you support our mission 100%. You will never fully know what that means to us!

URGENT: We Need Your Support

Blessings Beautiful Beings!

I know that financial hardship has hit us all, so it is with a heavy and humble heart that I come to ask this favor of you today. As you know this mission runs on the financial support of my husband and I along with a few dedicated supporters. As of late hardship has hit our supporters and we have been lovingly carrying the financial load on our own (which we do not mind at all). I have to be honest and say this is becoming very hard to do.

At this time our greatest need is postage stamps. As soon as we purchase a roll of 100 within four days they are gone. Although that is a great thing it's also not, because without postage we can not uplift children and adults who come to us for help. With that being said, we are just 2 postage books away from NOT being able 2 send uplifting mail to children and adults throughout the US who are depending on us. Will you please consider helping us?

From Serve Us to Service

*We are joyful to announce that we have exceeded our goal of gifting 2,010 goody bags in 2010!! As of today we have gifted 2,014 goody bags to loving and beautiful beings and you helped to make it possible!*

Our family after Hurricane Katrina was helped in many beautiful ways. We were invited into a home, received monetary donations, our apartment was furnished, we were given clothing, toys for our daughter (who was 10 at the time) and we made great friends. Those people stepped outside of themselves to help/uplift us. They never questioned their actions. They just did what they felt needed to be done.

In some way I got this concept even as a kid, because I cried when I saw a homeless being. Every visit to Children's Hospital for my clinic visits I ached for the children who couldn't walk or talk. Although I have missing limbs with the aid of a prosthetic leg I was able to walk. Today I no longer have the luxury of walking, but it does not bother me. And I'm deeply grateful I have the ability to talk.

Many people go through life just focusing on themselves. Never knowing that if they took a moment to uplift/serve another being great beauty would enter into their hearts and lives. My family and I get that if we help others our lives will have a steady flow of joy and goodness. Yes, times are financially hard for everyone. Yes, families are struggling to stay afloat daily. But service does not mean that you need money to help those in need. There are millions of ways to serve others. Start by searching your heart and the answers will come to you. As for me and my family we decided long ago that we would not live in the land of "Serve Us", but that we would joyfully live this life in Service to any being who needs us. Our way of spreading joy is through this mission, which God guides every single day.

It's been quiet on the site for a few days, but that does not mean we haven't been busy with goody bags. I don't think a day goes by when I would ever not want to put uplifting mail together.

I have been having a little struggle with my asthma lately, but it has in no way stopped my flow of wanting to spread love. :)

If I were a kid I would love to receive one of these!

These goody boxes were mailed off yesterday (Sunday) to eight beautiful children whom we've become deeply attached to. All are fighting cancer with brave hearts and we love them more and more with each passing day!

Everything we do is for God
For every item we are blessed to purchase is because of God
For every person who finds us and donates items/postage stamps that is because God lead them to us.

We love receiving thank you cards and letters, but we are fully aware that our success of uplifting God's children is ALL because of God and we wouldn't have it any other way. We are extremely honored to serve Him. We are blessed to be a blessing. All in the name of our Lord.

These goody bags will be delivered to Methodist Children's Hospital this week. We love bringing goody bags there! The smiles are contagious and the gratitude fills the air like a warm blanket of love. We are truly joyful to have the resources to do this.

How I Spent My Sunday

My Sundays are always slow and peaceful. I design it as such for a reason. Every day I put uplifting mail together, but Sundays are special. That is the day when I am most at peace. The loving music plays throughout our home, hubby's in the kitchen cooking a fabulous meal (Sunday's are his day to cook) and I am in my work area doing what brings me the greatest of joy.

We receive tons of requests and most of the time when they are for adults those adults are battling cancer. This Sunday I put together uplifting mail for four beautiful women who are currently battling this horrid disease. I feel blessed and honored to have this opportunity of uplifting their spirits. The picture below is filled with more than just four goody bags. It is filled with my truest love.

I pray that these bags reach their destination swiftly and each woman upon opening their mail will become wrapped in our love and care.
